This week at the Search Engine Roundtable we covered a bunch of Google related SEO topics from Google updates to new Webmaster Tools features. First, there was a lot of discussion around a possible Google update this week. Google's Matt Cutts showed one example of how Google improved over the past ten years. A Googler promises "big changes" very very soon - so SEOs are freaking out. Google Analytics is now hooked up into Webmaster Tools, on some level. The Fetch as GoogleBot is now out of the labs section of Webmaster Tools. Google AdWords is now going back to yellow, from purple and previously blue. Google AdSense is retiring the PSA ads. SEOs are sharing their best tips with us. SEOs have tested several HTML attributes for Google ranking purposes. Microsoft and Nokia team up to compete with Google and Apple, Bing to power Nokia phones. Google didn't have a Super Bowl logo, but Bing, Dogpile and others did. Google had two important logos this week, one for Jules Verne made up in CSS3 and today's Google logo for Thomas Edison's 164th birthday. That was this week at the Search Engine Roundtable. Happy New Years!
