Busy week, Google has penalized another link network, we believe it was SAPE links this time. Google's advertorial spam action on Interflora was reversed after 11 days. Google's Matt Cutts shared the philosophy Google uses when manually removing spam pages. Google shared an interactive infographic on how search works and I made a search engine to collect spam pages Google manually removes. I posted the March 2013 Google Webmaster report this week. Google recommends using pushState over hashbang when it comes to implementing AJAX navigation. Google's publisher quality enforcer posted a new document on how to handle user generated content. Google Images adds more distraction with "try these too" images. Google tests a new box like navigation button. Google+ has huge profile cover photos now. Facebook is launching a redesigned news feed. Try searching for do the harlem shake on YouTube, it is fun. Google had a logo for Miriam Makeba's birthday and today a logo for International's Women Day. That was this past week at the Search Engine Roundtable.
