This week, I posted the monthly Google webmaster report, it was a busy month, so make sure to review it. Google said structured data is not directly a ranking factor but it helps Google understand your pages. Google said there is no time limit to A/B testing but make sure to keep the content equivalent if possible. Google said there is no code to text ratio algorithm. Google still is planning on getting rid of the AJAX crawling scheme. Google is testing yellow map pins in the search results. Bing Ads launched price extensions. Google rickrolled tons of SEOs on April Fools day. Ben Gomes is taking over as VP of Search at Google as John Giannandrea heads to Apple. The search community honored Daniel Richardson, Eric Gehler, Luke Fitzgerald, Will Scott and Marc Poirer. Technically, I scheduled this video to go live today, I am offline for Passover. That was this past week in search at the Search Engine Roundtable.
