Just a note, I am offline, this video and post was pre-recorded and scheduled to be posted today. Google Search Console is still having delays - I hope it is fixed soon or by the time I wrote this. Google seems to be showing more image boxes, featured snippets and video boxes in the web search results. Google said it is hard to isolate specific elements as a reason for ranking successes or failures. Google said use Sitemap dates for crawling purposes and web page dates for primary content purposes. Google said the nofollow link attribute is working fairly well. Google said they have no plans yet for the disavow link tool. Google said AJAX XHR calls do take up crawl budget. Google Maps has a bug where reviews can disappear. Google My Business is adding POI Establishment categories to a ton of businesses. Google Guarantee labels are free, there is a special form to request them. Google uses brackets instead of quotes when referencing queries. Google also said it is super easy to read between the lines when they make statements, so be cautious. That was this past week in search at the Search Engine Roundtable.
