This past week at the Search Engine Roundtable, I do my monthly Google Webmaster Report. I also report on the Google Knowledge Vault, Google’s next step with the Knowledge Graph. Google upgraded the site search box within the search results. GoogleBot is now skipping the unrendered page and going right to the final page. If you have long term 503s, Google may treat them as 404s. Google possibly modified the domain clustering. Google AdWords launched callout extensions. Google AdWords is also releasing consolidated billing. YouTube’s keyword tool is forever gone. Google is testing hangouts in the search results. Google posted a handful of reconsideration request tips this week. AdSense has a new paginated ad format. Google disabled their new home page on more older browsers. Bing’s image widget tool leads to them getting sued by Getty Images. Google has a fun easter egg for typography kerning. That was this past week in search at the Search Engine Roundtable.
