Google posted on their Google Webmaster YouTube channel a nice very clear and simple beginner video on how Google Search works as it relates to how you, webmasters, can make your web sites better. This might be one of those videos you share with new, newbie, clients?

The video goes over crawling, indexing and ranking. It also talks about Google's own help documents including the How Google Search works portal, Google's Webmaster guidelines, Google's SEO Starter guide and the Google Webmasters portal.
I like this video because it is clear, concise and comprehensible.
